Happy 23rd Aditya!

Today is not just any other day, It’s 25th November, your birthday. A new opportunity, another chance, it's a new beginning, so just embrace your day. Life is all about how you shape your plans…whether A or B, change your plans, not the Goal my boy! Dream and take the responsibility to fulfil them, never in parts, but whole and sole. Wish you happiness and love in abundance, enjoy what all is to come. It’s a parents’ joy to see their off springs fly!

The day we held you in our arms,

We felt so fresh & new.

The loving task of parenting you,

Was what we were looking forward to!

Your naughtiness amazed us,

In so many ways.

You gave us the joy,

That grew with each passing day.

Chinmaya gave you a solid platform,

Your disciplined self was ready to perform.

Liberal Education @ Ashoka was your lovely call,

Thereafter you stood firm, strong and tall.

Your love towards your sister,

In the Heavens has got registered.

The way you make your little bro understand,

Respect, love and affection~ all will be at your command.

Chanting Gita, Meditation and firm by your diet,

Qualities you have many and all are admired.

It takes humility to realize there’s always lots to learn,

Sometimes ambitions seem impossible, until accomplished & done.

You take responsibility of all what you do,

We’re proud of the mind & the soul that define you.

Look towards the Sun & let shadows fall behind,

Remember, a happy life is run by a happy mind.

The way you celebrated our 25th will go a long-long way,

Your dedication, love & affection make us proud each single day.

You are the BLISS Adi,

For which we are thankful to God in every way.

Ma & Papa wish you:

More dreams and more memories,

More opportunities than chances,

More hard-work and more luck,

More friends than acquaintances,

More of passion and your very best,

Will help you sail your way better than the rest.

Happy to you Aditya!

Ma~Papa

Hi! This is Preeti Agarwal and I love doing something that adds a zing and meaning to my life. This blog has been created so that I can upload whatever I write as a small creation of my own or paraphrased or something I read somewhere and just want to follow it up. It contains some personal poetry, some table-mat designs and even my doodling art. I am loving the lock-down because it has given me something I would always cherish.

Ma...Our Walking Miracle!

Ma:   My mom is a walking miracle. An epitome of simplicity, I take pride in what she is. Sometimes, I feel if I become half as strong, as talented as she is, I would be a class apart!   In my teenage days, my friends used to find reasons for me to host a party. Reason was simple….my mom’s culinary skills and warm hospitality. She was too good with her cooking, presentation and served with love. When we used to get soft drinks where ever we went, she used to impress us with her ‘kairi-pudina’, ‘bel sherbat’, fresh tomato juice etc. Her mouth watering chaats with home made papri and raj-kachori have satiated so many taste buds. Master Chef was not aired those days otherwise she would have been a winner with a big margin. Not only mine and my father’s friends, but my in-laws family can vouch for her creativity. While hosting dinners for her loving samdhis, she would make sure, in an array of snacks, no snack is repeated the second time. Her daal halwa was to die f...

Karma Yoga# Bhagawad Gira# chapter 3# paraphrased

Bhagwad Geeta Chapter 3 Paraphrased: Chapter 3, Karma Yoga “Karma means You are the Maker of your life. When you truly understand Karma, you realize you are responsible for everything in your life. Every moment, you perform action- physically, mentally, emotionally and energy-wise. Each action creates a certain memory. That is Karma”.  In Bhagwad Geeta, Krishna emphasis the most on Karma Yoga. He says there are two paths:   Path of Knowledge   Path of Action On hearing this Arjuna decides to choose the path of knowledge and tells Krishna that it’s better to go to the Himalayas and start meditating and give up war. Krishna then explains its difficult to give up action because each thing we do, involves a bit of activity. Even the simple work like eating, drinking, sleeping or breathing also involves action. Moreover, when the action (here, it is the war) is in the mind and we are meditating, we’ll never be at peace. The Path of knowledge is for the thinkers- the ...
